Alcuin Landscape Design was formed in 2011 to provide an independent landscape infrastructure, garden, habitat enhancement and fixed play design service to landscape civil companies, and domestic garden market. The business is also associated with landscape companies who can offer a construction service in regards to garden design, play facility installation, soft and hard landscapes under the management of Alcuin Design on behalf of the client.

It is my intention to provide a quality design service to private contractors at a highly competitive rate bearing in mind my intention to establish Alcuin Landscape Design within the private sector.

I have achieved nineteen successful years of experience in Scottish Local Government, as Manager of a landscape design team being responsible for the restoration of twelve district parks, over one hundred play facilities, high profile national visitor attractions, street-scape, new cemetery creation and urban regeneration.

Alcuin Landscape Design will provide a personal service to clients ensuring that the client is closely involved during the design process to ensure the final project meets the aspirations and requirements of the client. Designs will be presented utilising AutoCAD, inclusive of survey / feasibility studies and costed to completion with each element rated. A contract management and supervision service can also be provided. Consultancy in regards to any aspect of garden design can also be provided at highly competitive rates.
