Quality of work generally poor with walls not finished properly, path and steps not completed to the top of the garden as per the quote and the section that was built looks amateurish, handrail (included in quote and paid for) not installed, no weep holes in retaining wall, gate to steps and path just looks silly as it's much too big for the opening and it can't be secured as no latch/hook provided, some fence panels don't fit properly. Overall, a shoddy job, and I'll have to spend some time and money making it look presentable.
Also, part way through the work, Roger came asking for more money in addition to what we'd already agreed. I wonder if this is a standard part of the service.
When I have future building requirements, be sure I won't be contacting Roger Bannister or LDB Roofing & Building.
