About J.J.M. Flooring Specialist
I have always been self-employed. I worked as a contract carpet fitter for Allied Carpets in Reading for nearly twenty years, this came to a sad end when the company closed down. I fit all types of flooring, solid wood, engineered wood, laminates, carpets and vinyl. I also fit ceramic tiles and offer door trimming. In addition I have always been happy to supply flooring and skirting boards, if required, direct from the manufacturer, which is a cost effective option for customers in most cases. It also gives the customer the opportunity to view the samples of flooring in the comfort of their own home prior to making a decision.
I have recently been awarded the prestigious 'My Builder' Tradesman of the Month, which is a great testimonial to the quality of work you can expect from me.
Qualifications
When I started thirty seven years ago, I trained with a very good fitter for two and a half years. Then bought myself a van and started on my own. Over the years I have personally trained three apprentices to industry standard.
